WebSailor 2005 Pre-Launch Prep List

• Go to West Marine in Mentor and buy bottom paint, new stainless steel bolt for gooseneck, new sailing gloves for crew, sail bandage tape, etc.
• Buy new sacrificial zinc for prop shaft.
• Re-attach boom, vang, mainsheet and lazy jacks.
• Clean algae on waterline.
• Thoroughly clean hull.
• Wax hull.
• Repair keel.
• Check electric bilge pump.
• Paint bottom.
• Replace Wheel.
• Mark center position on wheel.
• Replace Electronics.
• Attach new zinc.
• Re-attach batteries (install new battery boxes, if time --sorry no time -- do later).
• Tighten and lock-down cooling system on engine.
• Start and test engine.
• Pick up new Number 2 Sail at sailmaker in NY state.

WebSailor 2005 Post-Launch ToDo List

• Apply for, and affix customs sticker.
• Rebuild manual Whale Gusher bilge pump.
• Install one more new spinnaker halyard (Tall Paul).
• Repair deck and replace damaged bow pulpit.
• Make line and clutch changes recommended by Dave Hyland.
